How to get involved

The Lancashire, Greater Manchester & South Cumbria region is run entirely by volunteers, both national and branch members, with the help of our Local Support Development Officer.
Do you have something to offer? Could you give a little time and effort to help the MS Society and people affected by MS in our region?

Then why not join the team? You don't have to become a committee member to do this. In a dynamic and progressive team there is always room for new blood.

Newsletter editors, fundraisers, thinkers, doers, minute takers, letter-writers ... you name it, we can make use of your expertise, whether it be keeping our members up to date, arranging meetings, co-ordinating projects, administration, or tackling health authorities and primary care trusts on the health care provisions for people affected by MS.

Volunteers wanted for Salford Royal Monday Morning Clinic

It is always rewarding to be able to help people find what they are looking for. That is why we want to set up an information point at the Salford Royal Monday morning clinic.

We have three volunteers and are looking for a couple more that could help provide information and advice about local branches and other services.

Training will be provided and it would involve giving up a few hours every three or four weeks.

If you can help make a difference please contact:
