Simon McDowell

From Kent gained the Bronze award.

 

Champion profile:

Simon is 40 years old and has worked in the City for the past 20 years. He is reasonably fit and always enjoys a physical challenge.

Together with 3 very close friends, Simon completed the Caledonian Challenge.  This is a 54 mile walk around Ben Nevis which needs to be completed in 24 hours.  His efforts raised the MS Society an amazing £1,000.

He decided to choose the MS Society due to a work colleague losing a family member to MS. 

Simon's top tip for fundraising is to not be too self concious and not to worry about shaming money out of people!
