Vandana Ferguson

From Leicester, Leicestershire gained the Bronze award.

Vandana is 34 years old and lives in Leicester. She has two children who are aged 6 and 8. Vandana started running 3 years ago to gain fitness and for the feel good factor.

Vandana has run two marathons and has already raised almost £5,000 for the MS Society. She ran the London Marathon in 2004 and then ran New York in 2005. She has a family connection to MS so decided to fundraise for the MS Society.

Vandana advises future runners to keep their sponsorship forms with them at all times even when visiting the doctor or dentist. Justgiving is also a good way to increase support especially from friends overseas.
