Richard Hamilton

From Harrogate, Yorkshire gained the Bronze award.

Richard is 31 years old. He had decided to run a marathon and felt it would make it even better if he raised money for charity.

Richard took part in the Amsterdam Marathon in 2005 and he says that 'being cheered on by the MS Girls in Vondell Park at 24 miles nearly took the pain away'.

Richard's friend's wife has MS and he has seen how it can change people's lives so he decided to support the MS Society. Richard's advice is to contact your employer regarding matching pound for pound or a contribution towards your fundraising.
