Nicola Hilton

From Buxton, Derbyshire gained the Bronze award.

 

Champion profile:

Nicola is a 49 year old mother of two. She is a regular runner and receives great support from her husband and children. Nicola is an embroiderer and teaches classes.

Nicola took part in the Eyam Half Marathon in 2005 and supported the MS Society. A relative has MS so Nicola decided to support the Society.

To help her fundraising, Nicola and her husband asked for support rather than presents for their Silver Wedding Anniversary. She also made sure everybody knew about her fundraising and why she was doing it.
