Nicola Chew

From Preston, Lancashire gained the Bronze award.

 

Champion profile:

Nicola is a 24 year old Graphic Designer from Preston. She was diagnosed with MS in April 2005 and wanted to do something practical and positive to support the MS Society.

Nicola completed the Kilimanjaro Expedition in 2006. This is a 9 day trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. At 19,344ft it is the world's highest freestanding mountain.

Nicola's advice is to tell as many friends and family members what you are doing and why as you will be surprised how much support you will receive.
