Mel is a secretary from Horsham in West Sussex. She is single, has just turned forty and has recently moved to work in the United Arab Emirates for 'a change of scenery!'

Mel enjoys keeping fit, and so enjoyed the physical challenge of Bigfoot. Mel has a friend who has MS, and wanted to take part in Bigfoot as she likes to raise money for charities that have a personal connection for her.

Mel feels setting up a page at the Just Giving website is a great way to organise sponsorship. She says, 'it's much easier than having to collect money in personally and supporters can watch the money grow.'
