David Howells

From Winchester, Hampshire gained the Silver award.

 

Champion profile:

David is a long-term supporter of the Society having been fundraising since 2001. David's daughter was diagnosed with MS at the age of 19. His fundraising is one of the ways that help him to cope with the worries about his daughter.

David has completed three London Marathons for the MS Society. He says 'always use the personal touch when fundraising. People give to people'. David also advises that if you are writing to potential sponsors then make it a personal letter explaining why you are fundraising.
