From Kings Langley, Hertfordshire gained the Bronze award.

 

Champion profile:

Clare took part in Big Foot Sussex in 2005. Clare had celebrated her 50th birthday a week before Big Foot and felt walking 50 miles would be a good challenge. She says that the training was the hardest bit but once there it was "the best fun I have ever had with 113 strangers".

When fundraising, Clare contacted everybody she knew from work, her Christmas card list, email addresses etc. She raised over £2,000 by not being shy about asking people for sponsorship.
