Bernard is a 59 year old bus driver for Trent Buses. He jogs to keep fit and in his spare time enjoys the opera and classical concerts.

Bernard took part in the 2005 London Marathon for the MS Society as he works with the treasurer of the local branch. He says that he was persistent but friendly while fundraising.
