Evolving Services in Bolton

Bolton's Evolving Services took place on the 24th November at the Ramada Jarvis hotel.

Through this one day conference for health and social care professionals working with people affected by MS, the MS Society provided an opportunity to explore successful service development.

Over 75 health care and social care professionals attended the one day event, which included two breakout talks on

  • 'How to get a life - not just a service' by Gavin and Karen Croft
  • Rehab for relapsing and remitting MS and Beyond, by Consultant Neurologist Carolyn Young

There was also an introduction to Direct Payments and Individual Budgets by Michelle Yarwood from the Cheshire Disability Federation in the morning, along with the MS Society's perspective and programme talk from Kathryn White, a Regional Service Development Manager.
