Professional Network Conference:
South East London, Kent & Medway

27th October 2006 - Bexleyheath, Kent

On 27th October 2006 the South East Kent & Medway Regional Neuroscience Group and the MS Society professional network, got together for a major regional conference. The theme was MS care: challenges and opportunities - from the NSF to our health, our care, our say. The programme focused on overcoming barriers to implementation.

Speakers addressed some of the most pressing issues in MS care - commissioning services, the impact of the MS nurse in improving and developing services, innovative practice in rehabilitation, the latest information on new therapies, and how to get the best social care.
